TREE REPORTS - ARBORICULTURE REPORTS

As part of our overall landscape design and horticultural consultation services we also provide Tree and Arboriculture Services which include:

Local Government and others often require Tree or Arboriculture reports for planning purposes.

The retention of trees correctly or including trees sensibly within our landscapes provides sound environmental and aesthetic solutions.

Some trees can be dangerous and must be either reduced, pruned in some way or removed.

Others unfortunately have been planted or allowed to grow in poor locations or a wrong species has been selected.

We have consulted to private and commercial clients in quite diverse circumstances.

We have been asked to inspect trees that are hazardous or thought to be, for development purposes and provided solutions when real issues have been apparent in the form of damage being caused to homes, buildings or other structures.

We have worked with consulting engineers to help investigate reasons for damage being caused to buildings for both domestic and commercial clients and have had some success even when neighbouring trees may a problem.

In 2009 a new Australian Standard was introduced - AS 4970 - Protection of Trees on Development Sites and we work within its parameters.
